The Sidmouth Big Band for 2018 will play music taken from an anonymous manuscript located in the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library. Donated to the library by Douglas Kennedy in 1937, the manuscript is probably early 19th century. The tunes have been arranged into 3 parts and transposed into melodeon-friendly keys. The book can be downloaded here. The original manuscript can be viewed from the library's website. Copies will be available for Big Band workshop attendees at Sidmouth Folk Festival.
